Thanks for your interest in my work. I love to paint and have found a fulfilling sense and happiness in painting original works for my collectors. I must admit that the best commissions are achieved by having the collector decide the subject, the size of the canvas or paper, and whether it is an open ocean back drop, ocean with reef and if they would enjoy my unique style of bordering my art work. Once these general sizes, subjects and media are selected, allow me to create the best painting possible. The end results will please, I am sure.

| Bear & Salmon |
24" x 36" |
 |
Stretched Canvas. B.C.sand and salt water
Look carefully at this work, for it tells a story. On each side we
have the clear cutting of our forests, along the bottom fast flowing
clean water with logs, boulders and yellow sand. The sky is blue
with puffy white clouds full of promise. A scientific fact: DNA from
salmon has been found on the tips of trees on the tops of mountains.
This speaks of the full circle of life and how we are all connected.
The bear feeds on the salmon and as it travels it contributes to the
growth and well being of all that grow on our mountains. |

| Dating Octopus |
18 " x 24 " |
 |
| This is a bit of a naughty story. I came across this amorous octopus in Papua New Guinea. It was having an intimate moment with another octopus, and as I moved a little closer I noticed three other octopi moving in for a bit of the action. I had to smile as I thought to myself, ”Yea, I would be that many colors if I had four beauties crawling all over me.” Have you ever seen an octopus as it changes colors? The eye can barely keep track of it. It’s a WOW experience. |

| Mandarin Fish |
18 " x 24 " |

| Baitfish Revenge |
24 " x 24 " |
 |
| This is my imagination at work with just a touch of abstract. Often, I have witnessed the larger pelagic fish feeding on the smaller baitfish. Well, this is the story of the baitfish on the attack getting revenge. The greys and rusty pinks remind me of the Aussie outback, tin roofs, beautiful desert sunsets, and sun-bleached paints peeling from weather worn shacks. |

| The Leafy Sea Dragon |
18 " x 24 " |
 |
| I am embarrassed to say I am not sure the exact location this critter’s home. I did a dive in the south of Australia some 10 years ago and managed to sketch this wonderful-looking Sea Dragon. (It then stayed buried in a pile on my sketchpad books for many years.) This interesting sea dweller has always been very Asian-looking to me, and this impression certainly comes out in this particular work. You could almost see this outside an Asian restaurant. |

| The Fight |
18 " x 24 " |
 |
| Created as a feature piece for a trade show program in the mid-west of the USA (Our World Underwater), it speaks of the fish fighting back from the wreckage bursting into a flag-filled sky. It is a very patriotic piece for our North American friends. |
